Volunteer Opportunities

The strength of the Family Promise program is in the volunteer teams that give of themselves to help families in crisis. We encourage you to consider volunteering with our program.

 

Your church can become a partner church if it is not already involved and you can serve with another church if you are not connected to a congregation.

 

Volunteering with the host churches you provide meals and stay in the churches with our families. We have three teams each evening, a meal team, an evening host team and an overnight host team.

 

All of our volunteers at the host sites are required to complete our hour and a half volunteer training program that is offered regularly.

 

In addition you can volunteer by providing pet foster care, Day Center maintenance, and moving families.
